What data is collected

• Visit statistics (Google Analytics), only if you accept them: pages you view, time spent, device and browser type, approximate location (city) and an anonymised IP address.
• Google Maps: the map is loaded from Google only if you accept cookies. Google then receives your IP address and technical details of your device.
• Technical logs: the hosting server briefly records the IP address, time and requested page for security and reliable operation.
• Contact: if you phone or email, the details you provide are used only to reply to you or to arrange an appointment.

Medical information you share at the practice is covered by medical confidentiality and is not stored on this website.

Legal basis

For Google Analytics and the Google Maps map: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time. For technical logs and contact: the legitimate interest in running the website securely and answering your request (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Recipients

Google (Analytics and Maps) and the website's hosting provider (Railway) process data on my behalf. Data is not sold and is not passed to any other third party for advertising.

Transfers outside the European Union

Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. The hosting provider may also use infrastructure outside the EU.

Cookies and local storage

This website uses the following:

• _ga and _ga_* (Google Analytics): distinguish visitors and visits, valid for up to 2 years and set only with your consent.
• cookie-consent-v1 (browser local storage): remembers your cookie choice until you clear it. It is necessary and contains no personal data.
• Google cookies that may be set when the map loads, only with your consent and under Google's terms.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.

Data retention

Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Server logs are kept for the short period set by the hosting provider. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to help you or as required by law.

Data security

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and applies standard server security settings. No measure guarantees absolute security, but the data this website processes is limited to what is strictly necessary.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. To exercise them, contact katedimitriou1@yahoo.gr.

Complaints

If you believe your rights are being infringed, you can lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr, 1-3 Kifisias Ave., 115 23 Athens).
